Starting Nov. 1, Dr. Nikhil Batra is the new Primary Care Department Chair, and new member of the Medical Executive Committee. This is Dr. Batra’s sixth year at Salem Health. He recently served as Section Chief for the Hospitalist Section and is a hospitalist for Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. David Stenstrom, also a KP hospitalist, has agreed to step up as the new Department Chair for the hospitalist section.
