Dr. Batra has been an integral part of the Hospitalist Group at Salem Health. He is dedicated to patient care and teamwork. As our section chief and current Primary Care department chair, he exemplifies all the qualities for leadership and is a true role model for our team. He has led, as well as represented us, in Patient Experience and Provider Engagement A3 work and has a keen insight and ability to motivate everyone he meets. He listens to the frontline staff, respects and seeks input and involves all in the process for change to gain accountability and ownership. He has made significant operational and quality improvements in SHMG as well as KP Hospitalist work flow. He is also tackling the issue of excessive paging and improving communication in care teams.
