The next Epic upgrade will occur on June 14, 2016. To minimize the impact, Information Services is focused on implementating only the required update items. This should reduce training time for staff and providers.
Throughout March, Information Services will be providing demos to key stakeholders to showcase the new Epic features. Enhancement items are out of scope for the June upgrade, but they are being shared so that operational leaders can identify items of interest. After go-live, enhancement requests should be submitted through the correct intake processes (Good Idea Cards, Informatics Council, Emergency Executive Committee (EEC), Operating Room Change Control Committee (ORCCC), enhancement committees, etc.) so they can be prioritized. This way, we will have more well-rounded input from organizational stakeholders and can put forth a higher quality product that meets your needs.
