Several changes are being made to the organizational structure to align departments into cohorts, capitalize on leader strengths and position Salem Health to meet strategic objectives.
Bahaa Wanly will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer on a permanent basis effective Nov. 27. He has been acting COO since May 2016.He will continue to serve as Vice President of Salem Health Medical Group. In addition, the following departments will now be reporting to him: Construction, Facilities & Security, EVS/NUTS, Pharmacy, Laboratory and Imaging, Cardiac Service Line and Cancer Service Line. He will also oversee Salem Health’s strategy work.
The Neuro Muscular Service Line will now report to Deni Hoover, Vice President of Surgical Services.
