Recently patients have received back-to-back vaccines here while admitted as patients to L&D, NICU, ED and in many other units caring for adults.
To reduce this waste, starting April 2, a new pop-up alert (BPA) will activate when a second dose of a vaccine is ordered “too early” for the following vaccines:
