Salem Health Surgical Specialty Clinic – Vascular Surgery is excited to announce our new outpatient lymphedema service. Lymphedema is a chronic condition characterized by the accumulation of lymphatic fluid, typically in the arms or legs, leading to swelling, discomfort and wounds. While there is no cure for lymphedema, many patients benefit from education, support and a multidisciplinary approach to care. The service, featuring a team of providers with expertise in managing lymphedema, will help connect patients with resources in the community.
