New ED tech designated scrub color
14 Oct 2018The emergency department technician team transitioned from certified nursing assistant IIs to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) in June of 2017.
Our team is transitioning to a new scrub color in order to ensure we have identified them in their correct role and are not misleading related to their scope of practice.
ED techs will be wearing teal as their designated color, and will complete this transition by Nov. 1. See picture below.
