New Building C lab open

26 May 2019

Help reduce patient wait times for a variety of tests

By: Jamie Rouse, lab support services manager

The new lab — in Building C, suite 4000 — opened Thursday, May 23. The lab offers a variety of tests, including glucose tolerance testing, EKG services and therapeutic phlebotomy.

This draw station has four private draw rooms. We will have staff registering patients as they enter the space. This capacity will allow us to provide phlebotomy services to patients with less waiting. This space includes a secondary waiting room for increased patient comfort and privacy. This space will provide comfortable accommodations for patients who are with us for an extended period of time, like patients having glucose tolerance testing. We also have a space set up specifically for pediatric patients.

This new draw station is meant to lighten the load on our Building A draw station, so please send patients to our new draw station, if it’s convenient for them.

Please email me directly if you have any questions.
