Researchers submitting new IRB applications must now obtain written approval from the researcher’s service line director prior to submission to the IRB. The IRB application has been updated with a signature section for the service line director’s approval and states, “This research study falls within the capability and capacity of Salem Health and is supported by the service line/department listed above.”
