It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Nancy Boutin, MD. Her last day with Salem Health will be Nov. 20, as she leaves to pursue opportunities in the greater Portland area.
During her nearly 30 years at Salem Health, Dr. Boutin has cared for countless patients as a radiation oncologist and over the last seven years as a palliative care physician. She has served as a role model and mentor for many staff members in caring for patients with advanced illness and near the end of life.
“My years with Palliative Care have provided me amazing opportunities for growth, and I treasure the work we have done together,” Dr. Boutin said.
