Dr. Yates and I are proud to announce Dana Wehrli, BSN, RN, has accepted the new interim role as director of medical staff & physician engagement in the Medical Staff Office, in addition to her role as director of inpatient & adult hospitalists program.
Dana has been an RN for 22 years and been with Salem Health for nine years. Her greatest accomplishment, besides her children, is being a part of the leadership team in the Salem Health Medical Group and watching the engagement and perception change. She enjoys working with the hospitalist program improving patient experience along with leadership rounding and increased engagement. In one year Dr. Mehta and Dana have worked in a dyad and have gone from the 1st percentile in patient experience to the 72nd percentile.
We are looking forward to utilizing Dana’s abilities to improve physician engagement.
