The Meds to Beds program has successfully been trialed on the D5 and 5NW units. The program gives patients the option to receive their discharge prescriptions at their bedside before discharge. It will now be offered on 4S starting Oct. 24 and NTCU starting Nov. 7.
While the trial version of the Meds to Beds program was only offered Monday through Friday, the program is now offered seven days a week, 365 days a year. This service fills an important gap in care for our patients, ensuring they have quick access to the medications they need to continue their recovery at home.
