MedNews Plus to be discontinued

We will be discontinuing our contract with MedNews Plus, a daily health news feed provided to physicians and RNs, at the end of June. After conversations with MEC and the Nursing Practice Council.

If you have earned CME/CEs through MedNews Plus, you must print your certificates from their online tracker before June 30. If you have articles saved in your personal library, these will also not be accessible after June 30, nor will you be able to access your account. If you have questions, you can contact MedNews Plus at 513-731-6700.

For your information, there are several other options available to earn CMEs, free of charge:

1. HealthStream currently offers a variety of courses that offer CE credit at no charge through our learning center.  Staff are able to access these courses from the HealthStream Catalog tab from the “CE Center for You” section.
2. CE/CMEs are available for RNs and providers online through a free subscription to Medscape. You can sign up at medscape.com.
