The Medical Executive Committee seeks to ensure all medical staff members are aware of the resources available to them to help resolve problems that arise in the hospital. The medical executive committee Member-On-Call (MEC MOC) is available 24/7 to help facilitate patient care, mediate conflict resolution or otherwise promote resolution of patient care problems requiring immediate attention. The MEC MOC and the relevant section chief constitute the medical staff chain of command and should be called whenever additional help is needed to manage difficult problems or interactions in the hospital. You may contact the MEC MOC at any time through the hospital paging operator. Please do not hesitate to call your medical staff leadership to help with difficult problems. They are your colleagues and partners in providing excellent patient care for our community.
