Cheryl Wolfe and Bob Wells gave an affiliation update. The Operation Oversight Committee is gearing upfor the board retreat on March 11. The focus will be on understanding the strategies and vision of the affiliation, and how we continue to align. There has been a lot of progress with frank discussions. They are discovering the differences in cultures and that it takes a lot of hard work to align. Hard work, but good work! Dr. Robertson (OHSU President) and Dr. Richardson (Dean School of Medicine) were at the retreat to talk about the education and research missions at OHSU as well as the faculty practice. Now that we are officially affiliated it will be good to know more about how the three missions are integrated and impact the affiliation.
