Marc Sunday chosen nominee for Medical Staff president-elect

Ballots will be sent in 30 days

As defined in our Medical Staff Bylaws, candidates for the future Medical Staff president-elect position are selected by a Nominating Committee comprised of the current Medical Staff president, Medical Staff president-elect and three past presidents.

The Nominating Committee is grateful for the interest and support of Medical Staff members interested in serving our community. After careful consideration, the committee recommends Marc Sunday, DO, to the Medical Staff as the candidate for president-elect. Per the Salem Health Medical Staff Bylaws, this notification will be posted for 30 days and, at the end of this timeframe, ballots will be sent out to the active and associate Medical Staff members for vote.

• Current member of the Salem Hospital Credentials Committee
• Primary Care Department chair and member of the Medical Executive Committee

  • January to December 2021
• Medical Staff president and chair of the Medical Executive Committee
  • January 2022 to December 2023
