Lab order/result downtime

Three servers which support Salem Health Laboratories require patches to fix a recently identified security concern.

This will require a 90 minute downtime on Thursday, May 18 between 9:30 and 11 a.m.

During this time, electronic orders and results will not be able to be received or resulted in Epic, with ARUP, and on any Point of Care instruments until the downtime is over.

Units will follow downtime procedures and results will be faxed/printed to floors.

Once the downtime is complete, results and orders will flow normally.
