Changes clarify drugs for pediatric patients

Salem Health Laboratories changed the names of five Drugs Screen test panels on Jan. 2. Changes clarify which panels are for adults and which are for children, based on the cutoff values of each test.
The changes also show which panels reflex to confirmation and which do not. No other features of these panels were changed besides the names and the code for the Salem Health Laboratory – Dallas test.
