Starting Aug. 17, Salem Health Laboratories will change swab collection devices for chlamydia and gonorrhea testing due to new instrumentation. We will update ordering to a streamlined process, which will reduce confusion.
Clients who use West Valley Laboratories will continue with the same collection device, but will use the updated and streamlined ordering system. Ordering and collection device information was reported in the Aug. 1 edition of Common Ground.
