Dr. Kaur has been an integral part of the Adult Hospitalist Team. She has tremendous clinical skills and judgment. We often hear that her patients wish her to be their primary care provider. She has participated and led multiple tests of change — 4South Team Gold geographical rounding; core part of the Sepsis Affinity Group as well as Patient Experience Committee. She is always willing to help providers when we are short-staffed and has often voluntarily stepped in when someone is ill to care for patients. When we hit a high census and needed help, she came from home for a few hours to help. She is selfless and cares for every team member. She mentors, teaches and helps new providers. She nourishes us all by cooking for the group and cares about the well-being of the team. Be it patient care, financial stewardship or being a part of quality and safety A3 work, she plays a critical role.Her patient experience scores are impressive and discharge callers have, on multiple occasions, given feedback about her patients always being impressed.
