The medical surgical unit on 4 South and general surgery on 5 South have added beds. In an effort to address census increases in the winter, available space on both units has been modified to provide 10 more patient beds. These spaces became available for patient occupancy on Dec. 3. As a result, 4 South’s bed capacity is now 37 and 5 South’s is 41.
