We appreciate your patience with the new Salem Health ID badges. Due to more secure badge/door reader technology, it takes a little longer for the system to read. Please follow this process:
Place the badge on the lower part of the badge reader (this is the location of the antenna).
Make sure the ID badge is in contact with the reader (if you have other ID badges on your lanyard clip or a locator device, these items can interfere with how the SH badge communicates with the reader and give an error-deny response.)
