Important changes to prescription ordering

Use “Normal” button for all medication orders starting June 3

As part of our ongoing efforts to align with Epic foundation design, we are simplifying the prescription ordering process.

Key changes:

• The custom "e-Prescribe" button will be replaced by the "Normal" button starting June 3.
• The "Normal" button ensures prescriptions are sent electronically, as e-prescribing is now the standard.

What this means for you:

1. Use the "Normal" button for all medication orders. It will handle the electronic transmission automatically.
2. The "e-Prescribe" option will be removed entirely in the near future.
