Thank you to all who reported issues and assisted peers during our Epic upgrade.
Now that we’ve made it through “go-live,” we wanted to take the opportunity to acknowledge the great work done by the Physician Coalition group in the early stages of the Epic project.
In early spring, members of Physician Coalition partnered with representatives from Epic and Information Services to review and demo the enhancements scheduled for Epic 2017.
Through this work, Physician Coalition, which is a cross-specialty provider advisory body for our Epic system, was able to provide feedback on the value and impact of each enhancement.
This vital partnership between the provider community and IS helps prioritize high-value updates to the system, which in turn allows for continuous improvement of workflows and system optimization.
