While it feels like the dust has just settled from the last Epic upgrade, Epic 19.11 is coming in 2020. In 2018, Epic introduced quarterly upgrades to reduce the need for break fixes and enhancement requests. We are beginning to align with Epic’s recommendation to move upgrades to a quarterly cadence with a projected upgrade to 19.11 from March 9 to 14.
We will take advantage of the latest health care technology and adopt all of the enhancements 19.11 provides. This will ultimately improve patient care and daily workflows throughout the organization.
Additional project details about the scope and upgrades will come out in the coming weeks. This project will be led by Shannon Bryant as project manager and Aaron Gilliland as project leader. We look forward to another successful go live in March and many others to come in 2020.
