The Salem Health and Salem Health West Valley foundations have combined efforts with the Salem Health Projects Committee to offer scholarship applications for students in medically related fields of study.

To find the application, please visit www.salemhealth.org/scholarships and click on “Apply now.”

Applicants must have permanent residence in Marion or Polk counties, and must have applied to — or been accepted into — a formal training program in a health care field. Special consideration goes to current Salem Health employees, immediate family members and volunteers with more than 60 volunteer hours with Salem Health. Community members are also encouraged to apply.

Our scholarship programs began in 1968. Since then, more than $3 million in scholarships have been awarded. For the 2018-19 academic year, 75 students from our community received $156,000 in scholarships. The Projects Committee also has a rich history of supporting students for over 25 years.

Completed application packets must be received by email at foundation@salemhealth.org no later than 5 p.m. on March 29, 2019. No late or incomplete applications will be accepted.

Final selections will be announced by June 1, 2019. Please contact 503-814-1790 if you have questions.
