To keep our patient data secure, we’ve made several upgrades to security of our wireless networks. Effective April 2, 2018, personal devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) must not be connected to WiFi networks other than  SalemHealth-Guest.

The SalemHealth-Guest network is better designed to support personal device needs. Keeping personal devices on the Guest network instead of the Staff network prevents cross traffic between potentially unsafe websites and our information systems. To learn more about our wireless networks, check out this link.

We ask you to please follow these directions to “forget” the SalemHealth-Staff network so that you will have a smooth transition on April 2.

  • Go to your phone settings.
  • Tap “Wi-Fi.”
  • Tap “PHH-Staff.”
  • Tap “Forget This Network.”
  • Now you can proceed to connecting to the Guest network.

How to sign onto the Guest network

  • Go to your phone settings.
  • Tap “Wi-Fi.”
  • Tap “SalemHealth-Guest.”
  • When the user agreement pops up, scroll down and tap “Agree,” then scroll up and tap “Done.” If the user agreement does not pop up automatically, open a browser window (Chrome, Safari, etc.), type in a new website (your favorite news source will work), and the agreement should appear.

Note! You will have to accept the user agreement each day.
