We continuously evaluate our service as an important part of our Lean culture of continuous improvement. The need to maintain high quality and industry-standard turnarounds as we implement fresh solutions was evident in the most recent evaluation.
Effective Sept. 27, all Salem Health dictation and transcription services will move to Nuance Corporation as we outsource both the work and the staff. The change applies to providers at both Salem and Dallas campuses who are currently dictating their reports.
Medical language specialists will still support the creation of your documents. Unlike the current process, Nuance’s transcriptionists use speech-recognition technology which Nuance has pioneered for more than 20 years.
The dictation number you have always used remains the same, and you will still call the same in-house support number if you need assistance editing your reports.
