The multi-phased Epic Foundation project will align our Epic system and workflows with best practices to increase efficiency, decrease time spent documenting and reduce denial days for insurance reimbursements.
Phase I was relatively limited in scope for provider workflows. Phase II has a few more changes that will affect your work orders, changes to orders, workspaces/navigators, and operational workflow changes that will affect provider workflows.
Training materials will be provided on the Epic Foundation end user website starting Oct. 15. We will send a reminder in the Oct. 14 issue of Common Ground.
