Epic 25.5 goes live Nov. 12, need help?

What you need to know

We are a little over a week away from our Epic 25.5 go-live on Tuesday, Nov. 12! Here is what you need to know:

  • There will be downtime between 2 and 4 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, while changes are applied to the system.
  • Between Sunday, Nov. 10, and go-live on Nov. 12, you may find that you cannot customize certain aspects of your workflow, such as filters in Chart Review and work lists or edits to smart lists.
  • Epic reports and Slicer Dicer will be unavailable starting at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, for up to 24 hours.
  • Training is available. Please see our SharePoint site (Salem Health intranet access required) for more information on What’s New, an Epic feature to help users stay informed about updates and changes in Epic. It replaces the previous method of using slide decks and provides timely, searchable notifications directly within the system.
  • A Command Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to focus on issue resolution during the go-live.
