Epic 22.5 goes live on Nov. 16: What to know

06 Nov 2022

Get training on SharePoint, Command Center to open

By: Olivia Alley, technical communications coordinator

Here’s what you need to know and do as Epic 22.5 starts Nov. 16:

  • There will be downtime on Nov. 16 from 2 to 4 a.m. while changes are applied to the system.
  • From Nov. 14 to go-live, you may find that you cannot customize certain aspects of your workflow, such as filters in Chart Review and work lists, or editing smart lists.
  • Epic reports and Slicer Dicer will be unavailable starting at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15 for up to 24 hours.
  • Training is available. Please see the SharePoint site for more information. In particular, please make sure to review the document ‘Provider Epic 22.5 Update’ found here on the SharePoint site. This document highlights the more streamlined admit order, the removal of duplicative process instructions on admission types, the auto-population of names, and the removal of LOS date range buttons that did not populate LOS/EDD.
  • A Command Center will open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Nov. 16 to focus on issue resolution during go-live.

Contact Aaron Gilliland, project lead with general questions. After all changes are made, report issues to the Solution Center at 503-814-4357 or through the IS Service Portal. We look forward to a successful go-live!
