Epic 22.2 goes live on Aug. 10

31 Jul 2022

What providers need to know and do

By: Olivia Alley, technical communications coordinator

We are a little over a week away from our Epic 22.2 go-live on Aug. 10. Here is what you need to know:

  • Downtime will be Aug. 10 from 2 to 4 a.m. while changes are applied to the system. Command Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. that day to resolve issues during go-live.
  • Clarity reports (including Epic Crystal Integrated (ECI), BI Portal, and Reporting Cubes) and Slicer Dicer will be unavailable starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 9 for up to 24 hours. All non-Clarity reports (Lawson, etc.), will continue to be available.
  • Unused Epic reports were retired July 27. These included reports that had not been accessed or ran in 15 months or longer. This is part of Information Service’s ongoing data integrity work to ensure that all information housed in Epic is accurate and used. If you find that a report is missing or if you have any questions, please contact the Solution Center through the IS Service Portal and submit a ticket for the Business Intelligence team.
  • Training for the upgrade is available. Please see the Epic SharePoint site for tip sheets. There will be no in-person classroom training. Please encourage accessing the SharePoint page and review the documents over the next week.

Please contact Aaron Gilliland, project lead with any general questions. After all changes have been applied, report issues to the solution center at 503-814-4357 or through the IS Service Portal. We look forward to a successful go-live!
