This team of experts took their valuable time and effort to look thoroughly at a case, and willingly tackled a series of system issues.
The process could have been fragmented between departments, but this team came together, sat at the same table to bring the pieces of the puzzle together and looked at the concerns with open minds and patient and family centeredness!
Each one contributed, with deep respect for each other's role and amazing care. Together they were able to have a clear vision of the system and to better understand the issue from all perspectives.
They also came together to meet with a family with compassion, kindness and empathy, which resulted in a patient's family feeling closure, and feeling the issues they brought forward were taken seriously and were being carefully looked at and tackled and resolved in the best possible way.
