Dr. MacKay-Gimino new OB, L&D director at SHMG

She brings strengths in population health, quality improvement

Heather MacKay-Gimino, MD, has accepted the position of SHMG OB Hospitalists and Labor and Delivery medical director. She has been a member of the SHMG OB Hospitalists and OB/Gyn teams for more than 10 years and brings strong interest and experience in population health and quality improvement.

She will advance the team’s work in these areas, as championed by Cheryl Lugenbill, MD, and the WCS leadership.  We are very fortunate to have someone of her clinical and leadership experience to lead this well-established team as we continue to grow together in our mission to improve the health and well-being of the people and communities we serve.
