May 12 update to improve patient experience

Movement towards the update to Epic 20.11 on May 12 is well underway. This update will ultimately provide a better overall experience for patients and increase efficiency with daily workflows.  The plan for Epic build training and go live is complete. The tentative schedule is as follows:

• April 26 - Training materials become available (Epic SharePoint site or by hitting F1 in Epic)
• May 7 - Build freeze (final preparation for go live)
• May 12 - Tentative Go Live (Epic downtime scheduled from 2 – 4 a.m.)
