Command Center report out 9:00 a.m., Oct. 12

Day two of being live on Epic version 2017 is off to a great start. Our report from the night shift is that only 14 issues were called in, most of which were resolved.

After rounding this morning, all liaisons have reported that things are going well around the organization and at Salem Clinic. In the command center, we are continuing to chip away at the remaining open issues.

Trending issues

• ED trackboard – a workaround is in place
• “AM rounds” priority is causing issues with lab collection – this issue existed prior to go-live and is in the process of being resolved
• Medication conversion: scanned med does not convert to ml from mg – in process
• Cefoxitin medication – specific dose issue – in process
• RightFax at Salem Clinic – all of yesterday’s faxes have gone through and the issue is now resolved.
