Streamlined process due to new instrumentation

Effective Aug. 17, 2021, Salem Health Laboratories will be changing swab collection devices for chlamydia and gonorrhea testing due to new instrumentation, and will be updating ordering for a streamlined process and to reduce confusion. An educational video on collection instructions for the new kit can be found at moleculardiagnostics.bd.com/resource-center/ctgctv-collection-procedure.

Clients who use West Valley Laboratories will continue with the same collection device, but will use the updated and streamlined ordering system.
