Visual indicators received at screenings
A new badge tag was introduced last week at Salem Hospital screening entrances and on the shuttle. Instead of a tag with the date, you will receive a colored slip of card-weight paper to attach to your badge when you are screened. This color will change daily. This process was implemented at West Valley Hospital, the Regional Lab, Buildings M and E, as well. Thank you for your patience as we continue to check and adjust to the ever-evolving situation.
Sanitize hands before taking a mask
In order to enhance our process, screening will now require everyone to use hand sanitizer before picking up a mask. See CDC’s Clean Hands Count Campaign for more information!
