To show our appreciation for a successful Joint Commission survey, we’re extending an invitation to medical providers to a special ice cream social at the Creekside Overflow on Wednesday, June 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is open to Salem Health employees, volunteers and providers. If you’re unable to come, but will be coming to the hospital soon — we still want to thank you, so please ask a nurse manager on any of our nursing units after the event for a coupon to be redeemed at your convenience for something in Creekside Dining of equal value.
Executive leadership will be on hand to personally thank you for making our recent survey so successful. Everyone did an outstanding job cooperating with TJC surveyors, while providing high quality care, every day. They had many compliments regarding our commitment to safe care and leading practices.
In fact, when the survey ended, surveyors stated we had fewer improvements to address than other organizations typically receive. So now we’ll continue to improve even more, based on their findings!
Ice cream and frozen yogurt will be served with all the toppings including fresh fruit, coffee and punch. Special “for a job well done” coupons will be delivered to night shift managers to present to their staff so they can also get something of equal value at Creekside at their convenience.
