Wear Red Day — Friday, Feb. 7
Kick off the month in red. Booties will be available for providers and staff in the emergency department, catheterization lab, cardiovascular care unit, and cardiovascular non-invasive services.
Free health screenings — Tuesday, Feb. 11–13
6:30 to 10 a.m. at CHEC
Tell your heart patients the Mended Hearts support will be at the CHEC at 8:30 a.m. Free health screenings start at 6:30 a.m.: cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, height and weight. Remember to fast for 12 hours before cholesterol testing. Providers may drop in; tell your patients they can call 503-814-2435 (CHEC) for 15-minute appointments.
Talk with a Doc: Living Healthy With Gadgets — Thursday, Feb. 13
Noon to 1 p.m. in Building D
Kaiser Permanente cardiologist Priya Kansal, MD, will share how to lead a heart-healthy lifestyle – and how fitness gadgets help. Building D, first floor, Creekside Overflow.
