The renovated unit on 4South opened on Monday, Dec. 17. This new medical-surgical unit is telemetry-capable and used for multiple levels of care, ranging from medical-surgical to intermediate care levels through the winter months.
The goal — after winter — is to close the 3West medical-surgical unit and only use it during times of higher census. As that change approaches, we’ll keep you informed.
