As part of Salem Health’s new point-of-sale food service system, medical staff not employed by Salem Health will no longer be able to charge Nutrition Services purchases with their badge and then invoice later. This change is expected to take effect in late August or early September.
Non-employed medical staff will have the following options for café purchases:
Employed medical staff may continue to use their badges for payroll deduction.
