The Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) process improvement team, at the direction of the Cardiology Clinical Integration Network (CCIN), built a new clinical pathway into Epic to help you assess patient risk level. This pathway includes the TIMI risk calculator, which predicts the likelihood of a significant cardiac event based on a seven-point scoring system and an ACS order set for when a patient scores a 3 or higher.
