Last fall we began to share most chart notes along with imaging and lab results with patients in MyChart. For the next phase, on Aug. 24 we will begin to share several new items in MyChart.
These include labs with an abnormal result, sensitive labs (e.g. STDs, genetic tests) and operative procedure notes. This continues the work that Salem Health and the Medical Staff have undertaken to comply with these government regulations, which emphasize transparency in sharing medical records with patients.
