(Salem, Ore. – March 31, 2023) – Salem Health invites all nurse graduates from 2022-2023 to a dinner in their honor at the RN New Graduate Banquet, taking place on Wednesday, April 5, at Salem Hospital.
At the banquet, new nurse graduates are celebrated as we also showcase what makes Salem Health a great choice for new nurse graduates. As a nurse-led health care system, Salem Health’s president and CEO Cheryl Nester Wolfe is celebrating her 50th year as a registered nurse, and is leading by example the vital role which nurses fill in health care.
“Salem Health is a top employer which understands that our amazing nurses are our most valuable resource,” said Sarah Horn, senior vice president, chief nursing and clinical operations officer, Salem Health. “We’ve held several RN New Graduate Banquet events over the past year, and always eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet and celebrate new nurse graduates as they enter their practice and may consider Salem Health as the right fit for their careers in nursing. Our nurse residency program is structured to provide the tools nurses need as they transition into practice.”
