The Foundation is a charitable organization that supports medical and medically related projects in Polk County. The 15 volunteer directors help raise, manage and distribute Foundation funds according to donor wishes.

Rogers, who has been a resident of Dallas for 31 years, serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Eola Hills Wine Cellars, Inc.

Foundation officers are Chair Mitch Ratzlaff, State Farm Insurance; Vice Chair Jennifer Moran, Meduri Farms; and Secretary/Treasurer Darin Silbernagel, Western Oregon University. Other board members are Carrie Casebeer; Charles Essex, M.D.; Jim Fairchild; Joel Giusti; Amy Houghtaling; Cheryle Kennedy; Amy Lowery; Lu Ann Meyer; Lane Shetterly; Alex Trevino and Phil Walker.

Last year the Foundation approved over ­­­­­$98,000 for various projects including scholarships for students pursuing careers in the medical field, hospital equipment and patient assistance.
