Patients now have a more convenient choice when they need to see a doctor right away, but not in an emergency.

Salem Hospital Convenient Care allows patients the ability to schedule same-day appointments.

Formerly known as Salem Hospital Urgent Care, the new clinic addresses three common medical care needs:

1) Same-day treatment for people experiencing minor illnesses like cold or flu symptoms, sore throat, sinus pain, headaches, bronchitis, asthma, rashes and skin infection, bladder infections and arthritis.

2) Same-day treatment for injuries like neck and back pain, strains and sprains, tennis elbow, injuries from falls, cuts that require stitches, broken bones, injuries from motor vehicle accidents and worker’s compensation injuries, and

3) The convenience of scheduling same-day physical exams, including school and sports physicals, pre-employment physicals, commercial driver’s license (CDL) exams and blood pressure checks.

Salem Hospital Convenient Care is located at 1002 Bellevue St. SE, adjacent to the Salem Hospital campus. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
