In May 2022, Salem Health was nationally recognized as a Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission. Offered in collaboration with the American Heart Association achieving Primary Stroke Center (PSC) certification means we've made exceptional efforts to foster better outcomes. It’s a signal to our community the quality of care we provide meets the unique and specialized needs of stroke patients.
