Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing updates

Back in action after national shortage

Salem Health Laboratories is pleased to announce the resumption of in-house PCR testing for urine and vaginal/endocervical Chlamydia and Gonorrhea (CTNG) testing following a disruption due to the national shortage in supplies.

Other specimen sources are available for send-out tests to a reference lab.

We are also pleased to announce the addition of a new test panel for female urine specimens for Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae to include Trichomonas vaginalis by PCR.
