Dar'ya (she/sher) was educated at United States University in San Diego, California, where she learned to be a systematic, altruistic nurse practitioner. She is diverse, active, creative and constantly growing - drawing upon her varied experiences to fuel her passionate belief in patient safety, clinical excellence, cultural transformation and efforts to eradicate bullying and incivility in healthcare. As a clinician she deeply cherishes working in collaboration with other health professionals, patients and caregivers to address complex health issues with both clinical and educational tools. She is talented in the arts and dance, and enjoys homeschooling her kiddo, hiking, gardening, live music, painting and spending time with family.
